santa fe...burque pics continued...

spur of the moment...

So, I went to Santa Fe and Burque this past weekend. It was one of those things that I had to make happen...It was a little last minute and spur of the moment to an extent. I have been wanting to visit my buddies for a while...and then it just all came together...some things happened exactly as I expected...random adventures...but some surprised me. It's just weird to really realize and recognize when someone that you thought you knew has changed completely. and you ask yourself who is this person this stranger... hm interesting...

so enough with the riddles...and here are the pics!!

a nice surprise...

i had an interesting last couple of days. It seems that I've been given a chance to see that there are still nice guys out there. for so long i've been under a spell of a not so nice guy who pretended to be good. i still love this guy so much though and that makes things confusing.

it was just nice for someone to sit me down and see me and say hey how are ya? tell me about the hardest time in your life. describe to me a love that i have not felt before. and it was nice to be held...held like i was the most delicate thing on the planet and i could shatter at any moment. and it was strange that these things feel so foreign but if you had the horrible chance of being heartbroken and shattered than you would understand why. i'm slowly coming out of the fog and it's a new world...

and it was just nice to laugh...to converse...to sit with other people besides my family. i've cocooned myself for the past couple months and i feel a little like a butterfly...emerging once again. :>

I am off today and I'm on a mission to go shopping. This is going to be quite the task because I have my nephew and niece with me today. My lil sis is picking us up with her little one too. 3 babies...mall...shopping. lets see how much we can get done. I love days like this. Maybe we can squeeze some ice cream somewhere in there too.

haha. the above post was supposed to be for yesterday. I was a little too ambitious and we ended up going home after 30 mins at the mall. one baby was tired the other hungry. :> we did try tho. I'm planning on going back today to really shop. And yes alone. I work at 2pm so even that is pretty ambitious for myself. we'll see tho.

So last night after dinner with my sisters and mama at OG (Olive Garden) I went to hang out with my friend Marcus at Doc and Eddy's. He was there with his friend Ty. We sat outside and had a few drinks. (I was driving so I drank coke) We all started talking but somehow me and the friend talked the most. My buddy Marcus kept leaving for long periods then coming back. He then asked if he should just leave because he felt like the third wheel. By then it was time to leave but for a second there I forgot that not all guys are bastards. :>
